The ‘Alistair McCulloch Trio’ annual Scottish tour has become a firm fixture on the folk music calendar. Featuring champion fiddler McCulloch, alongside former Capercaillie whistle wizard Marc Duff, and past Scottish folk musician of the year, Aaron Jones of Old Blind Dogs & The Kate Rusby Band on bouzouki, guitar and vocals, the trio has gained a formidable reputation for its dynamic concert performances. Alistair is fiddle tutor at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland an has toured all over the world including throughout North America and Europe, China, Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East. He has collaborated and recorded with some of the biggest names in traditional music. Alistair has received various nominations in the MG ALBA Scottish Trad Music and has appeared at many festivals at home and abroad.
